The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops

Noah Pinsonnault works as a product analyst for Good Housekeeping's Home Care and Cleaning Lab.

He tests and evaluates cleaning equipment. His focus is on mopping and robot vacuum combinations. These multitaskers are an excellent option for those looking to get mopping off their to-do list. They feature impressive mapping capabilities and obstacles-avoiding capabilities, and some even wash and refill their mopping pads for a hands-off clean.

The Eufy S1 Pro

This is the model you should select if you're looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that also mop. It's smaller than the other models on this list, making it easier to maneuver in tight corners and under furniture. It has a 220 degree Lidar that, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, provides some of my favorite navigation and object avoidance features I've seen in robot vacuums.  robot cleaner 's powered by a 4600mAh battery which can last up to 170 minutes when mopping and sucking is set to standard mode. (It can run longer on turbo). It can even return to the dock to replenish its battery halfway through cleaning.

It is very efficient and does an outstanding job cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It cleans the carpeted rooms incredibly quickly and hardwood floors in the hallways, and living room in a single pass. Its motor of 8,000pa is able to pick up dirt as well as pet hair and even droppings easily. Carpet detection increases power automatically when it comes in contact with carpets and the two side brushes help to tease away debris from corners.

The mopping efficiency is less impressive, but not by a lot. The mop rotates quickly and utilizes 2.2lbs to clean dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arm sticks out a bit more than other robots. This is useful in difficult corners or on baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to sweep larger objects, such as broken toys or books.

Another nice feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mops I've tried. It is quieter and doesn't make as much noise when vacuuming or mopping. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it needs to utilize a specific mopping solution and is sold separately. It is simple to install and works well. However, if you are buying this robot vacuum solely to mop you must pay attention to this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It has a robust suite of features that make it an ideal option for homeowners looking for an efficient, flexible, and customizable cleaning machine.

The device is equipped with an impressive and powerful cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensors and an RGB camera to map the house and identify furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean intelligently and methodically.  robot cleaner  ensures a thorough and consistent clean, while also being relatively quick.

The Q Revo DuoRoller mop pad can reach many surfaces. They can reach corners or baseboards, as well as other difficult-to-access spots. They also come with a stretchy side brush that can be extended to reach the floor close to walls and other fixtures. The mop pads can also be washable and dry to reduce odors and prevent buildup.

Another feature worth mentioning is the app-based customization options.  robot cleaner  allows you to adjust the strength of suction, and choose between a back-andforth or more random pattern. You can also set the number of passes it must make, which will determine the speed at which the device can traverse your home. You can also decide to disable the side brush to avoid damaging rugs and carpets.

The device comes with a expensive price, but has a variety of smart features. It's important to keep in mind that it has periodic costs in the form of mopping equipment and maintenance. For instance, a brushroll needs to be replaced every six to twelve months or after 300 hours. The filter should be cleaned after 150 hours, and mop pads should be replaced every one to three month.

This robotic vacuum cleaner has a high Amazon rating and comes with many physical automation features. These include a power button that serves as a general "Clean button as well as a Home button that will take it back to its base station after finishing its cleaning task. It also comes with a multifunctional dock that automatically emptys the trash bin, fills up its water tank, and wash and dry its mop pads.

The Shark Matrix Plus

If you're a professional with a lot of work or someone who wants a cleaner home without spending a lot of time on chores, the Shark Matrix Plus is a solid option. It's a top-performing device, smart navigation, and a long battery life that allows you to keep your home clean with little effort.

The Matrix Plus is a 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop which means it can handle both vacuuming and mopping. The robot is divided into two components, a dry bin and water tank that can be snapped out and in and a mopping unit that is equipped with microfiber pads. It's not the most modern thing to have separate modules for mopping and vacuuming however it does mean that you don't need to worry about changing out disposable bags or refilling the tank of water.

The Matrix Plus performed well at both vacuuming and mopping. Its best feature was its precise floorplan that it uses to determine a route when cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate through rugs, furniture and other obstacles. The app allows you to create 'No-Go Zones' as well as virtual barriers that prevent certain areas from being cleaned by mop.

The Matrix Plus also did a surprising job of picking up hair from pets. It was able to capture many of the hair that our cats shed, and even got into some of the nooks and crannies on our stairs, where other robots struggled. It was quiet and had some lovely jingles to indicated when it was about to start or finishing its work.

The app was too basic and you had to alter the modules every time you switched between vacuuming and mops. The app doesn't have the capacity to hold multiple maps, which can be a pain if you have a home with multiple floors. The Matrix Plus robot is a great choice for those who want a smart device that can vacuum and mop.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive of our review. It does however, have certain unique features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni is most well-known for its massive dock that doubles as an charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two water tanks that are 4 liters in size. It also houses a 2.5-liter dust bin and a 2.5 dust bin that is 2.5 liters.

The base comes with a few control buttons that let you manually start cleaning tasks, recall the robot or run the dock’s auto-emptying procedure. Hold down two of the buttons to turn off the child lock that is a great feature for parents who are worried about children playing with the vacuum.

Similar to other robotic vacuums, the X1 Omni utilizes its camera to detect furniture and obstacles in its path and avoid them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

The X1 can be prone to become stuck when it gets entangled in a blockage, such as a power cable tangled over a rug. It won't function until you remove it manually. While it was not common, it was a frustrating experience when it did happen and especially because the X1 Omni doesn't have a "stuck" status alert in its app.

The X1 Omni is unable to automatically switch from mopping to vacuuming mode during the cleaning process. You'll have to manually switch between the two, which isn't a big deal except for the fact that the mopping pads aren't cleaned and dried between use which could lead to mildew or mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame), who created its sleek, modern base and mopping pad. It's a huge difference from the utilitarian black bases of rivals such as Roborock or iRobot. And it's an excellent choice for a market dominated by clunky boxy models.
